Thanks for your good wishes
Thank you so much for your good wishes and prayers during the past two weeks. Dad was quite ill and suffering. He kept calling for help, but we couldn't help him. We figure he wasn't talking to us. He is now at peace, and probably playing baseball with Mom cheering him on from the stands.
My cousin Jean Ann registered him at a WWII veterans site:

I did cry after the sergeant first class in Army blues handed me the folded flag. Nothing like taps and a flag ceremony to choke one up.
Also, the correct url for the obituary at the funeral home is: http://www.jolliffefuneralhome.com/obituary.php?ID=328 I know a lot of you already figured out the error in the previous message, but just in case . . . I do not believe this obituary will be up for very long.
Paul and the boys flew out, and Matt was a pall bearer.
We are all back home and enjoying a snow day. The boys will also have tomorrow off from school. Paul made it to work today, but when I got to Living Savior, the lot was not yet plowed out, so I came home.
I hope to get something up on the blog sometime soon, with photos, but haven't done that yet. You might want to check the blog for some other news, though. ;-) http://ruthsmusings.blogspot.com
Get your mammograms. Do your self-exams.
