    Dear Paul, Matt and Timmy,

I knew your mother from the Cooks Reward group on the Internet. She taught me so much about going through hard times with dignity, grace, a sense of humor and and a strong faith in God. She will be greatly missed. My love to all three of you. May God bless you.

    Dear Paul, Matt and Timmy.
She was so proud of all of you!

I too knew Ruth from the Cooks Reward group. She will never be forgotten by the rest of us. Like Diane said so well before me, Ruth taught us with her example of going through the hard times with much dignity, grace and yes, humor. Her faith was unshakable.

I will always remember her admonishings to do our self exams and get our mammograms.

    Ruth, I just did!

    Dear Paul, Matt and Timmy,

I'm another of Ruth's CR friends, the proud recipient of a set of her knitted kitchen "cloths" a few Christmases ago. Though we never met in person, I felt I knew and loved her dearly.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and all her loved ones. I'm sure her strength, love, and humor will help you through this sad time.

    With warmest regards,

When Ruth attended our knitting group she was always energetic, cheerful and kind. There was never any doubt how much she loved her family as she spoke of them with great love and fondness. My condolences to you and your family.

And here is another of Ruth's Cooks Reward friends. Ruth, as I knew her through this glass window between us, was cheerful and sturdy and lovely. My condolences to all of you.

I only knew Ruth through her attendance at knitting group, but have been following her battle. She was indeed a special woman and her reach was wider than you all will ever know. My thoughts are with you as you continue your own journeys.

    Dear Paul Matthew and Timmy,
I am so sorry for your loss. Miss Ruth will be missed dearly here at Living Savior Preschool. She was the church secretary and a very special part of our preschool family. Not once did she ever complain about her illness. Yes she asked for hugs but that was easy to give to Miss Ruth. She was an inspiration to all of those who knew her. She loved God, her faith and most importantly her family. She blessed us with her smile, her singing, guitar playing, witty sense of humor, her yummy bread at Christmas time, her love for dark chocolate, Oldies music (which she played loudly in the summer when no one else was around), flavored coffee, passion for the theatre and so much more every day. To know Miss Ruth was to love her and we all loved her. Please know that your family and Miss Ruth are in our thoughts and prayers. She will not be forgotten.
    Love, Janet

You made it across the river Miss Ruth. Peace be with you and your family. Lots of love, Miss Janet

    Dear Timmy, Matt, and Paul,

My deepest sympathies go out to all of you. Ruth is a wife and mother who loved you all deeply and continues to do so, and in that sense, you are more fortunate than many other people. It's so hard to lose her, though, and I am so sorry.

I own Christian Crochet at Yahoo Groups and Ruth was a member. We had her on our prayer list and prayed for her often. While we praise the Lord that she is with Him now and out of pain, we also sorrow with you, her family, as you go through this time of grieving. We will be praying for you.
    Blessings,
    Dena

This is very sad news that I just learned after reconnecting with Ruth last year.

We worked together at KOAA-TV, and even though I hadn't seen her or talked to her in a long time, I remember her fondly.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a terrific lady that made a lasting impression on those she met.
